Bowls

Here’s the bowls for this week for <£1bn Mkt Cap stocks which I typically look at – All, as usual, with some kind of supportive director dealing – All based on the 3 year chart – As you can see some are shorter term bowls, some are longer term – There are of course other bowls out there that don’t have some kind of supportive director dealing and of course there will be one’s I have just not spotted – Hopefully it helps, at the very least, it continues to keep me a little more disciplined.

Additions since last week…

  • ACRL, AVON, BVXP, HEIQ, JSG, KGH, MANO, MJH, PFC, TSTL

Removals since last week…

  • DWHT, IGR, JOUL (broken bowls)

Top 5 performers on the list last week…

  • KGH, VIC, BIRD, MJH, IOF

Top 5 underperformers on the list last week…

  • GMS, SHI, ALT, ESYS, REVB

Upgrades (in the past month (to next years f/c > 10%))
UJO, SHI, PDL, PHAR, HTG

New Director Dealings (since the last update)…
Buys in – KGH £1,110k, VLX £90k

Some observations on some of the current list (and current f/c’s (Stocko))…
APP, even on a PER of 10 (that’s less than half the f/c growth in EPS p.a. and doesn’t reflect the 6%+ p.a. yield) should probably be worth at least 1.5x the current SP (>25% of Mkt Cap in Net Cash)
AGFX, even on a PER of 13 (there’s a 3%+ yield and it’s f/c to grow EPS >20% p.a.) should probably be worth at least 1.5x the current SP (>25% of Mkt Cap in Net Cash)
GMS, even on a PER of 5 (it’s f/c to grow EPS 20% from 21A to 23E) should probably be worth at least 1.5x the current SP (big Net Debt here keeps the rating low at present)
KGH, even on a PER of 12 (there’s a 2%+ yield and it’s f/c to grow EPS >15% p.a.) should probably be worth at least 1.5x the current SP (Net Debt is >25% of Mkt Cap) – Note, was trading at 2x the current SP when EPS was almost 2x lower than the 23E EPS f/c of 19.8p
SAGA, even on a PER of 8 (typical low range rating pre-COVID) should probably be worth at least 2x the current SP (big Net Debt here, secured by the liners, keeps the rating low at present)

The 3 year charts below are sorted alphabetically by name.

The list is sorted based on last weeks strength to identify those bowls with the most current strength/momentum (and those without!).

As always, all comments, suggestions, etc. most welcome.
