UK Stock Market News Today – 7-Nov-2019

Morning all!

Superdry (SDRY) – 424p – £348m – PER 10

Trading Update For The 26 Weeks To 26 October 2019 – Revenue down -11.3%, cautious about challenging environment.

Looks like potential value here given the yield and forecast growth (if maintained) but need to see FY actuals.

As always, all comment most welcome!

UK Stock Market News Today – 6-Nov-2019

Morning all!

Totally (TLY) – 29p – £72m – PER 4

Interim Results For The 6 Months To End September 2019 – Revenue up 20% or so, EBITDA up 30% or so, intends to pay a maiden Dividend, Cash at Bank £8.4m (£7.5m). This is in-line and pipeline remains strong.

Looks more interesting, will be looking for Broker notes this morning, concern on the margin.

Gattaca (GATC) – 118p – £38m – PER 5

Results For The 12 Months To End July 2019 – Revenue up 1%, PBT up 5%, Net Debt at £40.9m.

Can’t touch this because of that Debt.

UK Stock Market News Today – 5-Nov-2019

Morning all!

Castleton Technology (CTP) – 63p – £52m – PER 9

Interim Results For The 6 Months To End September 2019 – Revenue up 10%, LBT of -£0.2m (PBT of £0.5m last time).

Even the introduction of a Dividend doesn’t give me enough to get any more interested at present.

Filta Group (FLTA) – 193p – £56m – PER 30

Trading Update For The 12 Months To End December 2019 – Revenue to be broadly in-line with market expectations, H2 Adjusted EBITDA to be similar to H1.

Why not provide numbers? I can’t be bothered checking, I guess the market will let us know how disappointing this is.

ULS Technology (ULS) – 51p – £33m – PER 8

Trading Update For The 12 Months To End September 2019 – Revenue down -9%, PBT similar level.

Still not tempted to make this ex-holding a holding again.

UP Global Sourcing Holdings (UPGS) – 78p – £64m – PER 9

Results For The 12 Months To End July 2019 – Revenue up 41% to £123.3m (£87.6m), Underlying PBT up 50.5% to £8.5m (£5.6m), EPS up 51.9%, FY Dividend up 50.2%. Current trading in-line and Order book is moderately ahead of last year.

Looks good, nice bounce back, but just have concerns about growth from here, although that yield does add attraction.

Wilmington (WIL) – 241p – £211m – PER 13

AGM Statement – Q1 in-line, expects FY to be in-line.

There could be value here and it looks like some people read their tea leaves correctly yesterday, keeping an eye out for Broker notes.

UK Stock Market News Today – 4-Nov-2019

Morning all!

Lok’n Store (LOK) – 548p – £162m – PER 44

Results For The 12 Months To End July 2019 – Revenue up 10.3%, Operating Profit up 11.1%, Annual Dividend up 9.1%, NAV up 11.1% (to 553p), Net Debt down -9.3% (to £29.3m), outlook positive.

Lots to like here except for the high rating, which is though, supported by the NAV, a great example of one that got away!

Team17 (TM17) – 297p – £390m – PER 30

Trading Update For The 12 Months To End December 2019 – Expects FY Adjusted Revenue and EBITDA to be ahead of market expectations.

Still quite like this but would need to see some significant upgrade to forecasts to get involved at this level.

Zoo Digital (ZOO) – 85p – £63m – PER 77

Interim Results For The 6 Months To End September 2019 – Revenue up 4%, Operating Profit of $0.4m ($0.3m Loss last time), Cash at $0.6m ($0.9m), Order book stronger than same period last year, well positioned to meet FY market expectations.

Looking better but would much prefer to see how the FY actuals look.

Morning all!

Lookers (LOOK) – 50p – £193m – PER 6

Q3 Trading Update – Challenging environment continues, expects Underlying FY PBT to be circa £20m (latest forecast was circa £20m), Net Debt stands at £73.9m, freehold property valued at £312m (some will be sold though), 80p a share. The CEO and COO both go!

Doesn’t look great but could this be a “blood on the street” opportunity? Strip out the Net Debt and there’s still a value here of, what, 60p+ in freehold.

Morning all!

Hargreaves Services (HSP) – 241p – £78m – PER 12

AGM Statement – First 4 months satisfactory, in-line with expectations.

Possibly a bottom here but would prefer to see some actuals, at least H1, before considering investing.

Synectics (SNX) – 179p – £32m – PER 10

Trading Update For The 12 Months To End November 2019 – Results expected to be materially below market expectations.

This is a pity but low margins and H2 weighting was plenty to put me off, last time I reported on this.

UK Stock Market News Today – 29-Oct-2019

Morning all!

Bloomsbury Publishing (BMY) – 260p – £196m – PER 16

Interim Results For The 6 Months To End August 2019 – In-line with expectations for the FY, Net Cash at £20.1m (£16.9m) and the Interim Dividend is raised 6%.

I reckoned 250p to be a fair cap here, looks like I was wrong, going on the Watchlist as the digital sales and non-Harry sales improvements look quite good.

Dods Group (DODS) – 6.5p – £36m – PER 64

H1 Results – In-line with Revenue up 20% or so, Loss versus a Profit last time, Cash down -20% or so, cautious on H2 due to political and economic environment.

I remain uninterested here at present.

Cerillion (CER) – 188p – £56m – PER 17

Trading Update For The 12 Months To End September 2019 – Expects FY to be in-line with Revenue up 8% and Adjusted EBITDA up 14%, Net Cash to be £5m, ahead of expectations.

Looks fairly priced to me, at best.

Photo-Me International (PHTM) – 89p – £338m – PER 10

Trading Update For The 5 Months To End September 2019 – In-line and FY should be in-line despite uncertainty.

Tempting for the yield but not enough here for me at present, would like to have seen an update on the Net Cash position here.

Water Intelligence (WATR) – 266p – £45m – PER 22

Q3 Trading Update (YTD) – Ahead on Revenue, comfortably in-line with PBT, demand strong, accelerating growth.

This is quite encouraging, could well be tempted back in here, it’s on the Watchlist for now.
